Role OverviewWe are looking for a creative and energetic Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for our digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form content, Reels, YouTube videos, educational content, motion graphics, captions, transitions, and social-media trends.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEdit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, LinkedIn videos, advertisements, and educational content.
• Convert raw videos into engaging and platform-appropriate content.
• Add captions, subtitles, graphics, animations, transitions, sound effects, music, and B-roll.
• Create attention-grabbing openings/hooks to improve viewer retention.
• Edit content related to finance, careers, education, business, and professional qualifications.
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form videos for social media.
• Work closely with the Content, Marketing, and Academic teams to understand the objective of each video.
• Ensure videos maintain consistent FinTram Global branding, quality, and visual identity.
• Stay updated with Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn video trends, formats, editing styles, and viral content.
• Maintain an organized library of raw footage, edited videos, graphics, and project files.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and handle multiple videos simultaneously.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve video quality, engagement, and audience retention.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of Reels and short-form video editing.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, music, and sound design.
• Ability to create attractive text overlays, captions, and visual effects.
• Good sense of visual composition and branding.
• Understanding of social-media content trends.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a creative team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
• Preferred SkillsExperience working with education, finance, edtech, or personal-brand content.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Photoshop.
• Experience editing videos for YouTube and Instagram creators.
• Understanding of YouTube thumbnails and social-media creatives.
• Basic knowledge of AI-powered video editing and content creation tools.
