Waiter / Steward

An F&B Steward (Waiter) serves food and drinks to guests, ensures table cleanliness, and provides exceptional customer service in restaurants, hotels, or banquet halls.

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-oriented F&B Steward (Waiter) to join our hospitality team. You will take orders, serve meals, answer menu questions, and maintain a spotless dining environment to ensure our guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly, check on guest satisfaction, and clear tables quickly between courses.
• Table Setup: Set up dining tables with clean linen, silverware, glassware, and appropriate condiments before and after service.
• Order Processing: Input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle bill payments efficiently via cash or card.
• Cleanliness: Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area, service stations, and sideboards.
• Upselling: Suggest appetizers, desserts, or beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Waiter, Server, or F&B Steward. Experience in a hotel or fine-dining setup is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or a degree/diploma in Hotel Management.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English (and local languages if required).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long shifts.
• Technical Skills: Basic math skills for billing and familiarity with POS ordering systems.
• Key Traits: Patient, polite, well-groomed, and capable of working calmly under peak-hour pressure.
