Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Support and Development Engineer with expertise in APIs to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, and troubleshooting API-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications and services. You will work closely with both internal teams and external clients, providing technical assistance, debugging issues, and developing new API features.

Technical:

1. Fluent in Axway API product, Linux, Database,
2. Hands-on experience working in Cloud Provider platforms AWS and Azure
3. Knowledge and hands-on of ITIL services
4. Provide technical support for API-related issues encountered by internal teams or external clients.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve API-related bugs and performance issues.
6. Ensure API reliability, availability, and optimal performance.

API Development:

1. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, QA) to implement API integrations with various systems.
3. Develop new API features and enhance existing functionalities.

Incident M anagement:

1. Assist in diagnosing and resolving system outages or incidents affecting the APIs.
2. Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support, as needed, to handle production issues

Operational   

1. Flexibility towards working in shifts (US, EMEA & APAC regions)

Soft Skills / Experience:

1. Customer/Front Office engagement experience
2. Ability to work independently and have Learnability Skills.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
7. A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.

Desirable:

1. Hands on experience in API development, integration, and support.
2. Hands-on experience in Axway API Gateway.
3. Proficiency in Unix and Shell scripting.
4. Proficiency in developing and working with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs.
5. Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee, etc.).
6. Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API data formats (JSON, XML).
7. Familiarity with API authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
8. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years

B. Tech. (Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/IT)
