Deputy General Manager (DGM)

Location: Noida/Delhi/NCR

Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

Relocation: Candidates should be willing to relocate, if required.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Interior Fit-Outs to lead the execution and delivery of high-value commercial interior fit-out projects across India. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Civil Engineering with 12–15 years of experience in project management, team leadership, client relationship management, and execution of corporate interior projects.

The DGM will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality and safety standards, optimizing project costs, and leading cross-functional teams. The primary job location will be Noida/Delhi/NCR; however, the position is transferable and may require relocation to any project site across India based on organizational and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of multiple commercial interior fit-out projects from planning to handover. 
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely project completion.
• Manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, vendors, contractors, and consultants for efficient project execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor project budgets, cost control, billing, BOQ verification, and profitability.
• Review project progress through regular site visits and management meetings.
• Resolve technical, contractual, and site-related issues while minimizing project risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Design, Planning, Finance, and other internal departments for seamless project execution.
• Prepare and present project status reports, MIS reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes, productivity, and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop project teams by providing technical guidance and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Master's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or MBA (Preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in commercial interior fit-out or civil construction projects.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple projects and project teams.
• Experience in corporate interiors, commercial buildings, hospitality, or institutional fit-out projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in commercial interior fit-out execution and civil works.
• Thorough knowledge of BOQs, contracts, project planning, billing, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Experience in project scheduling, resource planning, risk management, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
