Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee — Global Mobility Austria — High Complexity | Case Lead & Compliance
Role Purpose
Own complex assignment administration for Austria and selected S/E countries, lead immigration and relocation casework, perform balance sheet calculations and cost estimations, coordinate vendor and payroll interactions, and ensure GDPR and local legal compliance. Act as escalation point for operational issues and support year end mobility activities.
Responsibilities
1. Assignment Management & Approvals:
• Manage assignment lifecycle in system from initiation to closure; coordinate MD approvals per framework and ensure accurate HR Suite updates.
• Prepare and validate offer sheets, balance sheets and information notices
2. Relocation, Repatriation Execution:
• Coordinate repatriation and localization administration; manage salary transfers to local schemes and instruct payroll for one off payments.
• Support permanent international relocation processes and external hire relocations.
3. Immigration & Work Permit Coordination:
• Coordinate immigration documentation collection, liaise with vendors for permit submissions, and coordinate change of purpose authorizations.
• Oversee quarterly reporting of expired permits and ensure valid documents are uploaded
4. Reporting, Maintenance & Governance:
• Produce management reports; maintain tasks and workflows; ensure reconciliations between two systems as needed.
5. Stakeholder Communication & Escalations:
• Provide standard and escalated communications to leaders, PAs, assignees, client’s teams and site management; manage complex stakeholder queries.
System: Workday; ServiceNow, AMT; HR Suite; BMD; Global Advantage; Allianz portal; Mercer portal; SAP Ariba; Concur; ASES; Office package.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business, Tax or related field
• Hands on experience with HRIS, balance sheet calculations and vendor invoice processes.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian immigration, tax and social security implications for assignees; GDPR compliance experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work 5 days from office in client specific shift.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience with Mercer benchmarking, Global Advantage, Allianz portals and TEQ/expat payroll processes.
• Analytical skills for cost estimation and year end provisioning; familiarity with BMD and Concur.
• Project coordination experience and ability to lead cross functional mobility projects
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
