Job Title: Magazine Editor / Sub Editor

Job Type: Onsite

Location: Noida

Experience: 3–6 years (Business, Media, Trade, or Magazine Publications preferred)

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, or Media Studies is an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong editorial experience in business, trade, or magazine publications may be considered even without a formal journalism degree.
• Preference for candidates from reputed institutions such as IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication).
• Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage magazine edition themes based on current business trends, industry insights, and target audience relevance.
• Research, develop, and shortlist topics for feature stories, cover stories, interviews, and sector-focused editorial content.
• Conceptualize and create engaging special stories aligned with the publication’s editorial vision.
• Coordinate with industry experts, contributors, freelance writers, and PR teams for high-quality authored articles and exclusive content.
• Prepare detailed research-based questionnaires and conduct interviews with senior business leaders, executives, and industry professionals.
• Edit, proofread, and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, tone, grammar, and editorial consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the design and creative team to ensure visually compelling layouts and impactful presentation.
• Monitor story development, editorial calendars, and production timelines to ensure timely release of each magazine edition.
• Manage communication, coordination, and follow-ups with writers, interviewees, and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with market trends, business developments, and media innovations to maintain relevant and credible editorial standards.
• Required Skills:Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent research and interview skills.
• Deep understanding of magazine publishing, editorial workflows, and content planning.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask efficiently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with business, trade, or industry-specific publications is highly preferred.
