Merchandiser

Job Summary:

The Merchandiser is responsible for managing customer orders from inquiry to shipment, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, and effective coordination between buyers, production, sourcing, sampling, quality, and logistics teams. The role focuses on delivering high-quality denim and jeans products while meeting customer expectations, delivery schedules, and company objectives.

Key responsibilites :

• Key Responsibilities Order & Buyer Management Handle buyer inquiries, quotations, and order confirmations.
• Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international buyers.
• Understand buyer requirements, product specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers regarding order status and approvals.
• Product Development & Sampling Coordinate with the design, sampling, and product development teams.
• Ensure timely development and submission of fit samples, size sets, pre-production (PP) samples, and shipment samples.
• Obtain buyer approvals before production begins.
• Production CoordinationCoordinate with production, planning, washing, finishing, embroidery, printing, and quality departments.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve production issues that may impact delivery timelines.
• Sourcing & Material ManagementCoordinate with fabric, trim, and accessory suppliers.
• Track the availability of denim fabric, threads, buttons, zippers, labels, rivets, patches, and packaging materials.
• Ensure raw materials are available before production starts.
• Quality & ComplianceEnsure products meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor compliance with factory and buyer requirements.
