Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled, and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Ashirwad Elders Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to our elderly residents, managing critical patients, and maintaining smooth communication with doctors, hospitals, and residents' families.
Key Responsibilities
Critical Patient Management: Monitor, assess, and provide high-quality nursing care to critical and bedridden elderly patients. Respond swiftly to medical emergencies.
Doctor Consultation & Coordination: Accompany visiting doctors, assist during check-ups, accurately note down prescriptions, and ensure the strict implementation of medical plans.
Hospital Visits: Accompany residents to hospitals for routine check-ups, diagnostic tests, or emergency admissions, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Client & Family Relations: Interact with residents and their family members with empathy and professionalism. Update families regularly about the health status of their loved ones.
Daily Medical Care: Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, wound dressings, and monitor vital signs (BP, sugar, pulse, oxygen levels) daily.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery).
Clinical Knowledge: Strong clinical assessment skills with hands-on experience in handling emergencies and critical care.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, or operating basic healthcare software/emails) for maintaining digital patient records and reports.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact confidently with doctors, hospital staff, and clients.
Attributes: Patient, empathetic, emotionally resilient, and deeply respectful towards elderly care.
