Job Description
A Printing Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include loading materials, adjusting ink/pressure, monitoring for quality defects, and performing routine troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and relevant,,technical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup: Prepare machinery by installing plates, loading paper, and adjusting rollers/ink supply based on job specifications.
- Operations: Operate printing presses efficiently to meet production schedules.
- Quality Control: Monitor the printing process to ensure color consistency, alignment, and detect defects.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating machinery to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues during print runs.
- Compliance: Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience operating printing machinery is typically preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of printing processes, materials, and digital controls.
