Product Manager-Pressure & Temperature

This is a strategic role responsible for driving sustainable growth of the Pressure & Temperature product portfolio by managing the complete product lifecycle, shaping product strategy and roadmaps, and translating market and customer insights into winning commercial strategies. The role partners closely with sales and cross‑functional teams to meet market needs, stay ahead of future trends, and achieve targeted business and margin objectives.

Job Description (Roles+Responsibilities) : 

• Develop and execute short‑term and long‑term business and marketing plans for the Pressure & Temperature (sensor and transmitters) product portfolio.
• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, including product strategy, positioning, roadmaps, launches, and phase‑out.
• Identify market trends & Innovations, customer needs, and competitive insights to drive sustainable growth opportunities.
• Define go‑to‑market strategies and collaborate with sales and marketing on external promotions (digital, print, seminars, roadshows).
• Provide high‑level sales support through product expertise, customer engagements, and development of sales tools and training materials.
• Act as a liaison between Sales Centres and Production Centres, communicating local market requirements and issues.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure timely product development and delivery.
• Track product performance and KPIs such as revenue, margins, and market share; recommend improvements and growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, certifications, and internal governance requirements.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Pressure and Temperature measurement technologies (sensors, transmitters, instruments, or systems).
• Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-centric value propositions.
• Experience in product roadmap planning and lifecycle management.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: BE- Instrumentation or Electrical /B.Tech
• MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Marketing / Product Management is an added advantage.
• 10-15 years of experience in product management, preferably in industrial automation, instrumentation, or process and hygienic industries.
• Prior exposure to Pressure & Temperature products is highly desirable.
