Job Title: Technical Specialist – Production Control Room (PCR)
Department: Broadcast Operations
Location: Agra (Remote Job)
Employment Type: Full-Time (24x7 Shift-Based Role)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Specialist to manage and operate the Production Control Room (PCR) for live and recorded television broadcasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of broadcast technology, live production workflows, and digital streaming platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage PCR equipment including video switchers, audio mixers, and broadcast control systems.
- Handle live telecasts and ensure seamless transmission without technical interruptions.
- Perform video and audio mixing for high-quality broadcast output.
- Coordinate with producers, directors, and other technical teams during live and recorded shows.
- Monitor and maintain broadcast quality standards throughout transmission.
- Manage and stream content on digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time during live broadcasts.
- Ensure proper recording, archiving, and playback of broadcast content.
- Follow all operational and safety protocols within the PCR environment.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B. Tech, or any relevant graduate degree.
- Basic to advanced computer knowledge is essential.
- Strong understanding of PCR operations and broadcast equipment.
- Familiarity with live production workflows and broadcasting techniques.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in video switching and audio mixing systems
- Knowledge of live streaming and broadcasting platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to broadcast quality
Work Schedule:
- This is a 24x7 operational role, requiring flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred Experience (Optional):Prior experience in a TV channel, media house, or broadcast environment is an advantage.
