Job Description

  1. Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, engineering items, and indirect purchases.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and identify new vendors for cost optimization.
  3. Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  4. Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up until material delivery.
  5. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, R&D, and Accounts for procurement requirements.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases based on reorder levels.
  7. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
  8. Ensure all purchased materials comply with technical specifications and quality requirements.
  9. Maintain procurement records, vendor database, purchase reports, and documentation.
  10. Resolve supplier-related issues, including shortages, quality concerns, and delayed deliveries.
  11. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
  12. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable statutory requirements.
  13. Support vendor audits, annual rate contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
