Job Description

Job Summary


We are looking for a highly experienced Purchase Manager to handle end-to-end procurement for a wide range of home appliances including kettles, room heaters,

induction cooktops, infrared heaters, air fryers, OTG, fans (BLDC C induction), mixer grinders, immersion rods, gas stoves, hand blenders, and other small domestic appliances. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost

optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted supply for production.


 

Product Coverage

1.     Electric Kettles

2.     Room Heaters

3.     Induction Cooktops C Infrared

4.     Air Fryers C Air Fryer + Oven

5.     OTG (Oven Toaster Griller)

6.     Fans (BLDC C Induction)

7.     Mixer Grinders

8.     Immersion Rods

9.     Gas Stoves

10. Hand Blenders

11. Other Home Appliances


 

Key Responsibilities

1.     Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods

2.     Develop and manage vendor base (local C international)

3.     Conduct price negotiations and finalize best commercial terms

4.     Ensure timely availability of materials for smooth production

5.     Work closely with production, QC, and planning teams

6.     Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate sourcing

7.     Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation

8.     Track market trends, pricing, and supply risks

9.     Ensure quality compliance of purchased materials

10. Maintain inventory balance (avoid overstock C shortages)

11. Handle import procurement (if applicable)

12. Develop new vendors for all appliance categories

13. Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing)

1.     Cost reduction % achieved in procurement

2.     On-time material availability for production

3.     Vendor development C diversification

4.     Reduction in material shortages / line stoppage

5.     Inventory optimization (DOH / stock turnover)

6.     Quality rejection due to purchased material

7.     Improvement in payment terms C credit period

8.     Effective negotiation savings (YoY)

 

Required Skills

1.     Strong experience in home appliance sourcing

2.     Knowledge of electrical C mechanical components

3.     Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

4.     Understanding of supply chain C inventory control

5.     ERP knowledge preferred

6.     Strong analytical and costing skills


 

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate / B.Tech / MBA (Supply Chain / Operations preferred)

Experience in consumer durable / appliance manufacturing company
