About the Role
TS Publication is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Consultant to drive business growth by converting leads into clients for our Publishing and PR (Public Relations) services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospects, understanding their requirements, scheduling meetings, presenting service offerings, and closing deals.
You will be selling premium, high-ticket products and services including book publishing packages, book launch events with celebrities, features on national news platforms, podcast appearances and productions, PR articles, and curated PR events. This is a consultative sales role where you help authors, entrepreneurs, and professionals build and grow their personal and professional brand.

- Book Publishing Packages — End-to-end publishing solutions for authors and professionals.
- Book Launch Events with Celebrities — Premium launch events featuring celebrity appearances to maximise reach and brand impact for the author.
- Features on National News Platforms — Getting clients featured and covered across leading national media and news outlets for credibility and visibility.
- Podcast Sales — Selling podcast appearances and podcast production packages to help clients reach wider audiences.
- PR Articles — Professionally written and placed PR articles across relevant media platforms to build the client's public image.
- PR Events — Curated public relations events designed to enhance brand presence and connect clients with the right audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with company-provided leads through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Understand client requirements related to book publishing, author branding, media coverage, and PR services.
- Present and pitch the full range of TS Publication products including book launch events, celebrity tie-ups, national media features, podcasts, PR articles, and PR events.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and the management team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and service presentations as required.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales deals.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Update and manage lead status, client interactions, and sales activities in CRM or internal systems.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Good understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive approach.
- Prior experience in publishing, media, advertising, PR, or service sales will be an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in B2B or consultative sales.
- Comfortable speaking with senior professionals, entrepreneurs, and authors.
- Strong follow-up and closing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
Compensation & Incentive Structure
This role offers a fully performance-based incentive structure with unlimited earning potential. Commission is calculated on monthly cash collection — meaning the actual payments received from clients in that month, not the total deal value signed.
We deal in high-ticket publishing and PR services ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 20,00,000 per client engagement, giving you significant earning upside on every deal closed.
Commission Slabs (Monthly Cash Collection):
- Up to Rs. 5,00,000 — 5% commission
- Rs. 5,00,001 to 8,00,000 — 6% commission
- Rs. 8,00,001 to 12,00,000 — 7% commission
- Rs. 12,00,001 to 20,00,000 — 8% commission
- Above Rs. 20,00,000 — 10% commission
How it works: Commission is paid on the amount actually collected each month. For example, if a client signs a Rs. 10 lakh deal but only Rs. 1 lakh is received in the current month, your commission for that month is calculated on Rs. 1 lakh only. As subsequent payments are collected in future months, your commission for those amounts is released accordingly. Your slab is determined by the total cash collected within that calendar month.
