Overview

EY seeks accomplished professionals for the role of Industry Solution Architect in its Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector. The role is designed for strategic leaders who can architect and deliver large-scale, high-value solutions in rapidly evolving environments. Candidates will excel at leveraging domain expertise and advanced technologies, such as AI, Digital Twins, etc to drive client growth, cost optimization, and enhanced profitability. Primary Industry Technology (Semiconductors, Internet and Social Commerce, Electronics and Computers, IT services & Cloud Platforms, Sofware, SaaS etc) and Media & Entertainment Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Leadership & Design:
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of major transformational solutions, shaping deal constructs across offerings, from consulting through to delivery, with a clear focus on client impact and value
• Domain Expertise & Sector Insight:
  • Apply specialized knowledge of TMT industry segments (e.g., digital platforms, content delivery, telco networks, cloud transformation) to inform solution building and ensure relevancy and innovation in client engagements.
• Value Proposition & Narrative Development:
  • Develop compelling business narratives and executive presentations that clearly articulate differentiated value, leveraging strong communication and visual storytelling abilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Engage fluidly with key internal and external stakeholders—including account leaders, sector specialists, alliance partners, legal, finance, SC&O and delivery teams—to shape holistic, client-aligned solutions across geographies.
• Financial Modeling & Pricing Strategy:
  • Define robust pricing frameworks, estimation models, and commercial constructs aligned to client priorities, emphasizing sustainable growth and profitability.
• Innovation & Technology Integration:
  • Infuse advanced technology (AI, analytics, cloud, automation) and next-generation business models into solution designs to deliver market-leading transformation outcomes.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrated success in solution architecture, business transformation, or complex consulting within the TMT domain
• Advanced understanding of sector trends: digital platforms, telco systems, media technologies, cloud, and artificial intelligence
• Sophisticated communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills—ability to translate complexity into clarity for executive audiences
• Proficiency in financial analysis, commercialization models, and program-scale delivery
• Proven track record working collaboratively across diverse cultures and geographic regions to achieve strategic objectives
• Growth mindset, strategic thinking, and resilience in navigating dynamic client environments
• Track record in developing new business models, operational efficiencies, and technology-enabled transformation in TMT or related sectors

Domain Skills and Knowledge (Indicative)

• Deep familiarity with TMT business models and value chains
• Experience with digital transformation, data and content platforms, telco infrastructure, media distribution, cloud solutions, and AI-driven innovations
• Ability to contextualize AI, analytics, and automation in tangible business scenarios relevant to TMT clients
• Awareness of regulatory requirements, risk management, and industry standards in TMT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related discipline; MBA or advanced master’s preferred
• 12–18 years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, or transformation leadership within the TMT sector or associated industries
