Senior Accounts Executive

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to oversee accounting operations, manage a team, and ensure compliance with all statutory and taxation requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & FinanceManage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintenance of accounting records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• Compliance & Taxation:Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
• Manage TDS deductions, reconciliations, and return filings.
• Handle direct and indirect taxation matters and coordinate with consultants/auditors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and applicable tax laws.
• Assist in tax assessments and notices from government authorities.
• Team Management-Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounts team.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support team members in resolving accounting and compliance-related issues.
• Audit & ReportingCoordinate internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for compliance purposes.
• Provide MIS reports and financial analysis to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in managing accounting teams.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Busy, or ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, or Food Industry.
• Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
