Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation (GST & TDS), and financial reporting, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GST & TDS Compliance:
•Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within deadlines.
•Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations.
•Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
•Coordinate with tax authorities for notices, queries, and documentation.
2. Invoicing & Receivables:
•Generate and issue invoices as per client agreements.
•Verify accuracy of invoices against contracts and delivery schedules.
•Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding dues.
3. General Accounting:
•Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
•Pass journal entries and manage ledger accounts.
•Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Balance Sheet.
•Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
•Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
4. MIS & Reporting:
•Prepare MIS reports and assist in financial analysis.
•Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in audits and tax preparation.
•Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance.
•Manage company expenses with proper documentation.
•Handle Purchase Orders (PO) and vendor coordination.
•Maintain effective email communication with clients and stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
•Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
•Hands-on experience with Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet preparation.
•Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
•Experience in MIS reporting and financial data handling.
•Hands-on experience with invoicing, PO processing, and accounts documentation.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
