Senior Accounts Payable

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable professional to manage vendor payments, invoice processing, reconciliations, and overall payable operations. The candidate should ensure timely payments, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents.
2. Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers.
3. Maintain accounts payable records and ledgers.
4. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchase orders and payment approvals.
6. Prepare payment schedules, bank transfers, and cheque processing.
7. Monitor outstanding payables and maintain aging reports.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
9. Assist during audits by providing required documents and reports.
10. Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and payment records.
11. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
12. Handle TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance related to vendor payments.
13. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
14. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
15. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payable processes.
16. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, ERP, etc.
17. Good communication and coordination skills.
18. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
19. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
