About the Team

The Adobe Builder Experience team is reimagining the future of software engineering at Adobe.

Our mission is to develop the AI Factory for Adobe engineers—a single platform enabling teams across the company to build, deploy, manage, and scale intelligent AI agents and skills that assist throughout the engineering lifecycle. From requirements analysis and architecture development to code generation, debugging, testing, deployment, observability, and production analysis, we are inventing the foundational infrastructure that drives the next wave of AI-native software development.

Our platform integrates LLMs, agentic workflows, developer tooling, evaluation systems, context management, orchestration frameworks, and cloud infrastructure to boost engineering efficiency while preserving enterprise-grade reliability, security, and governance.

We're looking for passionate engineers who enjoy solving complex systems problems and want to compose how thousands of Adobe engineers build software in the AI era.

What You'll Do

• Compose and build the core AI platform powering intelligent developer workflows across Adobe.
• Develop scalable infrastructure for crafting, deploying, orchestrating, and managing AI agents and reusable skills.
• Build distributed backend services for context management, agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, and runtime execution.
• Build highly reliable, low-latency systems supporting AI-powered developer interactions.
• Partner with product, research, and engineering teams to bring modern AI capabilities into production.
• Drive architectural decisions around agentic systems, multi-agent collaboration, retrieval, memory, and context management.
• Continuously improve the developer experience by employing the latest advances in LLMs, reasoning models, and AI engineering.

Skills

• 6+ years of experience crafting and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar backend languages.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and backend services.
• Experience crafting scalable, highly available backend platforms.
• B.Tech/M.Tech./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience building LLM-powered or GenAI applications.
• Experience with AI agents, agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, etc.), MCP, RAG, context management, evaluation frameworks, or reasoning models.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and developer efficiency platforms.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building CI/CD platforms and developer infrastructure.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, New Relic.
• Passion for building platforms that improve engineering efficiency at scale.
