Store Incharge

Position SummaryWe are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store Incharge to manage and control inventory for our electrical panel manufacturing operations. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records in Tally, ensuring proper material handling, and supporting smooth production through timely material availability.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Tally Management

• Maintain accurate stock records in Tally ERP on a real-time basis.
• Record all inward and outward material transactions in the system.
• Reconcile physical stock with Tally data periodically and report discrepancies.
• Generate stock reports, consumption reports, and inventory statements as required.
• Maintain proper item coding and description for electrical components.

Material Receipt & Issue

• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) preparation and system entry.
• Issue materials to production/dispatch as per authorized requisitions.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

Store Operations

• Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of electrical components and panel accessories.
• Maintain bin locations, labeling, and organized store layout.
• Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and inform purchase department timely.
• Handle safe storage of sensitive electrical items.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all store-related records, registers, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety norms.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the store area.
• Ensure safe material handling practices.
• Prevent material damage, pilferage, and obsolescence.
• Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate or Diploma holder (preferably in Electrical/Mechanical/Commerce).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in store/inventory management (preferably in electrical panel or similar industry).
• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP inventory module is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components (MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, cables, etc.).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
