Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. In this role, you will maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing items within the organization. Your primary focus will be on organizing and managing inventory efficiently while ensuring that data is updated in real-time.


Responsibilities:


Inventory Management:


· Receive, inspect, and record all incoming and outgoing items, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.

· Organize items in designated storage areas for easy access and retrieval.

· Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering processes when necessary.


Data Entry and Maintenance:


· Update inventory databases in real-time to reflect current stock levels, movements, and locations.

· Regularly conduct audits to reconcile physical inventory with recorded data.


Organization and Labeling:


· Maintain a well-organized and clean storage area for efficient inventory management.

· Label items appropriately with clear identification tags and codes.


Communication:

· Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure seamless inventory processes.

· Communicate inventory status, discrepancies, and issues to superiors on time.


Quality Control:


· Inspect items for damages or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.

· Implement and uphold quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the inventory.


Qualifications:

· Must be an ITI pass-out or diploma or equivalent.

· Must have basic knowledge of computer.

· Experience in inventory control or a related field is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

· Skilled in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Effective communication skills to convey information clearly to superiors and team members.

· Ability to lift and shift moderately heavy items.
