Job Description: Storekeeper (Construction Site)

Location: Construction Site

Experience: Minimum 2+ Years (Construction Industry)

Qualification: Any Graduate / Diploma (Preferred – Civil Background)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper for a construction site who has strong knowledge of civil construction materials, tools, and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for proper material handling, inventory control, and coordination with site engineers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain proper receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials

Keep accurate stock records (inward, outward, balance)

Handle and manage civil equipment such as shuttering material, scaffolding, tools, machinery spares, etc.

Ensure material availability as per site requirements

Coordinate with Site Engineer / Project Manager for material demand

Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly stock reports

Conduct physical stock verification regularly

Maintain safety and cleanliness in the store area

Prevent material damage, loss, and pilferage

Handle GRN, challans, invoices, and material documentation

Follow company store and inventory procedures

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Good knowledge of civil construction materials & equipment

Experience in construction site store management

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory records)

Understanding of measurement units & material specifications

Good coordination and communication skills

Ability to work independently at site

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction projects

Preferred Candidate:

Experience in Residential / Commercial / Infrastructure Projects

Immediate joiner preferred
