Job Description
Position Summary
The Vice President of Real Estate provides strategic leadership for the company's real estate portfolio. This role oversees acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, asset management, and market analysis to support organizational growth and maximize return on investment. The VP collaborates with executive leadership, investors, developers, brokers, legal counsel, and financial institutions to execute the company's real estate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's real estate growth strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate property acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture opportunities.
- Lead site selection and market research for new developments or expansions.
- Manage real estate development projects from acquisition through construction and stabilization.
- Oversee leasing activities, lease negotiations, and tenant relationships.
- Direct asset management strategies to maximize property value and financial performance.
- Prepare investment analyses, financial models, and feasibility studies.
- Manage relationships with lenders, investors, developers, brokers, and government agencies.
- Lead due diligence, contract negotiations, and transaction closings.
- Ensure compliance with zoning, permitting, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
- Monitor market trends, property valuations, and competitive activity.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead real estate, development, and asset management teams.
- Present investment opportunities and portfolio performance to executive leadership and the board.
