Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for promoting and selling agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farm equipment. Build strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit farmers, retailers, and distributors to promote products
- Generate leads and convert them into sales
- Provide product knowledge and usage guidance to customers
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets
- Conduct field demonstrations and farmer meetings
- Maintain strong customer relationships and handle queries
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Prepare sales reports and updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of sales experience (Agro industry preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas
- Basic knowledge of agricultural products and practices
