Secondary Science Teacher – Roles & Responsibilities

  • Teach Science to students as per the prescribed curriculum.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
  • Conduct practical activities and demonstrations to enhance conceptual understanding.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide academic support where required.
  • Maintain attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
  • Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, examinations, and school activities.
  • Use digital teaching tools and innovative methods to improve learning outcomes.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and developing scientific thinking.
