Job Description
1. Equipment Maintenance
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance of machines
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently
- Maintain lubrication, alignment, and calibration
- Reduce machine downtime
2. Breakdown Handling & Troubleshooting
- Attend and resolve machine breakdowns quickly
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
3. Maintenance Planning & Documentation
- Prepare and follow maintenance schedules
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports
- Ensure proper documentation and records
4. Utility & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain utilities such as DG sets, compressors, boilers, HVAC
- Ensure uninterrupted power and utility supply
- Monitor and optimize energy usage
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety standards and procedures
- Ensure machines comply with safety regulations
- Participate in audits and inspections
- Maintain safe working environment
6. Team Coordination & Supervision
- Supervise technicians and maintenance staff
- Coordinate with production & other departments
- Assign tasks and monitor execution
- Train and guide junior team members
