Job Description
Job Summary:A Computer Operator monitors and controls computer systems, ensuring that all operations run efficiently. They handle data entry, system backups, troubleshooting, and maintain hardware and software performance.
- Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor computer systems and networks
- Perform data entry and update records accurately
- Manage system backups and ensure data security
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues
- Run scheduled jobs and processes (batch processing)
- Maintain logs of system performance and activities
- Install and configure software applications when needed
- Ensure proper functioning of printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Report system errors or failures to the IT team
- Maintain confidentiality of company data
