Job Description

  • Fitting & Fabrication: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
  • Assemble fabricated parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Perform alignment, marking, drilling, grinding, and finishing operations.
  • Equipment & Maintenance: Operate welding machines, cutting machines, grinders, drills, and fabrication tools safely.
  • Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
  • Safety & Quality Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or material defects promptly.
  • Required Qualifications ITI in Welder, Fitter, Fabrication, or a related trade.
  • NCVT/SCVT certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using fabrication tools and measuring instruments.
  • Understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling and workshop practices.
  • Core CompetenciesStrong technical and practical skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Good problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Physically fit to perform manual work in industrial environments.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Quality and accuracy of fabrication and welding work.
  • Productivity and adherence to production schedules.
  • Compliance with safety standards.
  • Low rework and defect rates.
  • Proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and teamwork.
  • Preferred Candidate Profile ITI-certified Welder/Fitter with hands-on industrial experience.
  • Familiarity with fabrication drawings and welding standards.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet production deadlines.
