Job Description

Senior Sports Associate (Accounts) – Job Description

Role: Manage accounting, budgeting, procurement, taxation, audit, and financial compliance activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinize estimates, tenders, and financial bids as per GFR and procurement guidelines.
  • Provide financial advice on administrative matters, including pay fixation, pension, TA/DA, and LTC.
  • Handle audit matters, internal audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, maintain accounts, vouchers, ledgers, and BRS.
  • Ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, and other statutory returns.
  • Manage taxation, salary, and pension-related compliance, including foreign coaches.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and Utilization Certificates (UCs).
  • Draft and vet tenders, contracts, agreements, and MoUs.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer/Competent Authority.

Skills Required: Accounting, budgeting, taxation, procurement, audit, financial reporting, and knowledge of GFR/compliance regulations.
