Delivery Person

Job Summary:

We are hiring a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to customers and business locations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of local routes, follow delivery schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  Safely pick up and deliver goods or packages to assigned locations

  Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery

  Load, unload, and secure items in the delivery vehicle

  Verify delivery details with customers and obtain signatures if required

  Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

  Handle products with care and follow company handling guidelines

  Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tire pressure, fuel)

  Report any delays, accidents, or vehicle issues to the supervisor immediately

  Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

  Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies

Requirements:

  Valid driving license appropriate for delivery vehicle type (e.g., LMV/Commercial)

  Prior experience in delivery driving is preferred (but not mandatory)

  Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations

  Physically fit and able to lift and move packages

  Punctual, dependable, and customer-focused

  Basic communication skills (local language; English/Hindi is a plus)
