Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding work as per project requirements and specifications.
- Carry out MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding as required.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.
- Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and fabrication activities.
- Inspect welded joints and ensure proper quality and finishing.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other equipment safely.
- Identify and repair welding defects when required.
- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of materials before welding.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work area.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with ARC/MIG/TIG welding is preferred.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot welding defects.
- Strong focus on workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
