Job Description
Uptick Social is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our marketing agency by acquiring high-value clients and building long-term relationships. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales, negotiation, and client management skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard high-ticket clients for Uptick Social's marketing services.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and other business development activities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales pitches to close new business.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored marketing solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and ensure excellent client servicing.
- Coordinate with the internal marketing team to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction.
- Proactively resolve client concerns and work towards client retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional marketing services.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets while contributing to the company's overall growth.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Servicing, or Account Management (Marketing/Advertising agency experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and client management abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident in closing deals.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools is an added advantage.
