Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer based in Goa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend systems and APIs while ensuring high performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable Java-based applications
- Build and manage microservices architecture
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
- Implement caching mechanisms using tools like Redis or Memcached
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature development
- Integrate third-party and internal services
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Spring MVC
- Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture
- Experience with caching tools like Redis or Memcached
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Knowledge of API security (OAuth, JWT)
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus
