Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive institutional business growth by building relationships with Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Clients. The role focuses on empanelment, client acquisition, and revenue generation for legal, valuation, and consultancy services across the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach Banks, NBFCs, Housing Finance Companies for empanelment
- Manage end-to-end empanelment process (documentation, follow-ups, coordination)
- Build and maintain relationships with bank officials and corporate decision-makers
- Generate business for legal, valuation, structural audit, and consultancy services
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Maintain pipeline reports, lead conversion data, and MIS
- Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
- Travel for client meetings across Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Raigad
Required Skills
- MUST: Experience in Banking / NBFC Sales & Marketing
- Strong experience in institutional sales and corporate liaisoning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills
- Target-driven mindset with revenue focus
- Experience in lead generation and conversion
- Strong relationship management with decision-makers
- Ability to manage MIS, reporting, and pipeline tracking
Good to Have Skills
- Experience in legal / valuation / consultancy services sales
- Exposure to structural audit / engineering consultancy
- Knowledge of bank empanelment processes
- Experience in real estate or property-related industries
- Strong network in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai region
- Experience with CRM tools and corporate networking
Qualification & Education
- Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate (Marketing / Commerce / Business Administration or related field)
- Experience: 3+ Years (Banking / NBFC sales mandatory)
- Work Mode: Hybrid (Field + Office)
- Work Week: Monday – Saturday
- Location: Kamothe, Panvel (Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Raigad)
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days preferred
