POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Apprentice DQA

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

General : We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Quality Assurance team as an Apprentice. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and apply skills in Quality Assurance during the warehouse inspection and storage of Herbalife products in the Distributions’ location in India to ensure product quality with food safety system compliance. You will work closely with experienced QA professionals to contribute to the overall success of our organization.

As an Apprentice QA, you will:

●       Collaborate within QA team, cross functional teams and SCM & WH teams to ensure product quality compliance for Herbalife India.

●       Perform activities & assist with FG Checks, Product Release and GMP/GSP compliance checks at the Herbalife Warehouse locations.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:      

●       Ensuring the GSP (Good Storage Practices) and regulatory

requirements as per FSSR Schedule IV requirements.

●       Perform

AQL inspection for Herbalife products.

●       Rejection

report preparation and sharing.

●       Product

testing (Sensory, Hardness & Vacuum leak testing)

●       Good

Storage practice Inspection and Compliance.

●       Audit

and inspection at warehouse and supply chain location.

●       Provide

Training to Distribution locations.

●       Batch

system entry and Documentation.

●       Manage

floor team and ensure on time batch quality inspection and release for market

●       Hold

batches clearance on priority basis and ensure no pendency.

●       Coordination

with warehouse and supply chain team for incoming batches quality check

●       Retain

sample management and documentation

●       Batches

release from oracle (system) on time

●       Tracking

of effective batches and communicate to SCM team (New Label, New MRP, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:
