Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to café recipes and standards.
  • Handle mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs about shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly.
  • Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control practices.
  • Support junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
