We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager / Senior Manager with a strong Life Insurance and Annuity background to lead teams, drive service excellence, and manage complex financial operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage team leads and associates supporting Life Insurance and Annuity operations
Drive performance through goal setting, feedback, and formal performance reviews
Own daily operational delivery, SLAs, quality, and risk controls for financial transactions
Act as the escalation point for complex client, agent, and distributor issues
Partner with IT, Compliance, Product, and Operations to improve systems and workflows
Identify risks and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of combined financial services experience
2+ years of people management experience in a financial services environment
Strong Life Insurance and Annuity operations experience (required)
Solid financial domain knowledge, including regulations and transactional risk management
Hands-on experience with redemptions, exchanges, RMDs, systematics, and complex service transactions
Experience across annuity administration, life insurance administration, new business, or customer service
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
