Project Manager – Installation Operations

Vendor Onboarding & Management

• Identify, evaluate and onboard installation partners, service vendors, technicians, logistics providers and other relevant local vendors.
• Conduct vendor due diligence, collect statutory and commercial documentation, negotiate commercials and complete onboarding formalities.
• Build a reliable state- and district-wise vendor network across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Eastern UP.
• Define and monitor vendor SLAs covering turnaround time, installation quality, documentation, attendance, responsiveness and closure rates.
• Conduct vendor training on company processes, quality standards, safety requirements, use of digital tools and reporting formats.
• Maintain vendor performance scorecards and initiate corrective actions, replacement or expansion of vendor capacity when required.

Installation & Project Execution

• Coordinate installation schedules with internal teams, vendors, customers, channel partners and site stakeholders.
• Ensure installations are completed as per approved scope, SOPs, quality benchmarks, safety norms and target timelines.
• Track pending installations, revisit requirements, service calls and closure documentation until final sign-off.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks involving material shortages, site access, vendor availability, customer escalations and quality issues.

Reporting & Process Control

• Maintain accurate MIS for installation pipeline, completed jobs, pending cases, vendor performance, escalations, travel, expenses and project status.
• Ensure timely collection and verification of site photographs, installation reports, customer sign-offs, and other closure documents.
• Use company applications, spreadsheets and digital tools to update real-time execution status and maintain data accuracy.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reviews, highlighting achievements, delays, risks, root causes and action plans.
• Maintain strict compliance with company SOPs, documentation standards, approved commercials and expense policies.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in field operations, project execution, installation operations, service delivery, vendor management, logistics or regional operations.
• Experience in sectors such as consumer durables, electrical products, solar, telecom, appliances, electronics, infrastructure, last-mile service or distributed field operations will be preferred.

Travel Requirement

This is a field-intensive position requiring frequent and planned travel across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The candidate should be willing to undertake site visits, vendor meetings, installation audits and stakeholder reviews at short notice where required.
