Accountant

Financial Record Keeping

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Track and document financial transactions accurately.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Issue invoices and follow up on receivables.
• Reconcile accounts payable/receivable balances.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Liaise with auditors and government agencies during audits or inspections.

Banking & Reconciliation

• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and bank balances.
• Manage fund transfers and deposits.

Internal Controls & Audits

• Assist in setting up internal control systems.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.

Payroll Support (if applicable)

• Process payroll and statutory deductions like EPF/ESI.
• Maintain employee salary records and resolve payroll queries.

Software & Tools

• Work with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP).
• Use Excel or other tools for data analysis and reporting.
