About the Role

The Lotus by Zenia is looking for a responsible, presentable and proactive Hotel Manager / Assistant Manager to assist in the day-to-day management of the property.

Applications from all genders are welcome. Female candidates are preferred for this particular managerial role, as the position will involve working closely with the female owner and will complement our existing team, which currently has several male staff members.

The selected candidate will act as an important coordination point between the Owner, Zenia management, hotel staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations

- Work closely with the Owner and Zenia management

- Supervise and coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping and other operational staff

- Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out

- Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally

- Monitor room readiness, cleanliness and overall property presentation

- Coordinate restaurant and F&B requirements with the concerned team

- Assist with banquet, party and event operations

- Coordinate bookings and reservations

- Maintain basic operational records and reports

- Ensure staff discipline, attendance and proper grooming

- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve operational issues promptly

- Coordinate with maintenance and other vendors whenever required

- Assist with sales enquiries and property visits

- Ensure hospitality and service standards are consistently maintained

- Report important operational matters to management

About the Property

The Lotus by Zenia operates within Patliputra Club & Banquets, Rajiv Nagar, Patna.

The property includes:

- Hotel accommodation

- Bodhi Cafe / Restaurant

- Swimming Pool

- Fully Equipped Gym

- Skating Facilities

- Banquet Halls

- Event & Open Spaces

The role therefore provides exposure beyond conventional hotel operations, including F&B, events, banquets, recreation and guest relations.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

- Responsible and trustworthy

- Polite but capable of managing staff

- Organised and punctual

- Comfortable taking responsibility

- Able to communicate effectively in Hindi

- Comfortable with basic English communication

- Familiar with WhatsApp, email and basic computer operations

- Able to coordinate multiple departments

- Willing to learn and grow with the organisation

Experience

Freshers with excellent communication and management potential may apply.

Candidates with prior experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Salary will be determined according to experience, communication skills, responsibilities and overall capability.

For experienced candidates capable of independently handling hotel operations, higher remuneration can be discussed.
