Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Law (LL. B) from a reputed institute/university.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
- Prior experience in the NBFC/Banking sector with a focus on collection recovery is mandatory.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of recovery laws including Section 138 of the NI Act, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, and related legislation.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, complaints, and petitions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
- Capability to effectively coordinate with courts, police, and enforcement agencies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Undertake field visits for debt recovery from defaulting customers and maintain updated MIS reports.
- Represent the company in court proceedings across the state.
- Draft and file criminal complaints, including those under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.
- Manage arbitration proceedings by filing petitions under Sections 9 and 17 and oversee execution matters.
- Coordinate and participate in Lok Adalat hearings and conciliation camps.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies for the execution of summons, warrants, and other enforcement actions.
