Job Overview:
We are looking for a confident and articulate YouTube News Anchor to present news content on our digital platform 'Insider Live News'. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in front of the camera, have strong storytelling skills and the ability to deliver news in an engaging, clear, and credible manner for an online audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Present daily news content on YouTube in a professional and engaging style.
Research, verify, and understand news stories before presenting them.
Collaborate with editors to refine content for video delivery.
Maintain accuracy, neutrality and credibility in reporting.
Adapt tone and delivery style based on the type of news such as political news.
Record voiceovers and appear on camera as required.
Stay updated with current events, trends, and digital media formats.
Engage with the audience through comments, live sessions, or social media when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in Hindi and/or English.
Confident on-camera presence with clear diction and voice modulation.
Basic understanding of journalism ethics and news reporting standards.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle breaking news situations.
Familiarity with YouTube content formats and audience engagement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or background in Journalism, Mass Communication or related field.
Prior experience as a news anchor, reporter, or content creator.
Knowledge of video production basics and teleprompter usage.
Experience with social media platforms and digital news ecosystems.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced digital newsroom setup.
Flexible working hours depending on news cycles.
