Job Description

Purchase raw materials such as vegetables, dairy, groceries, and packaging items from reliable vendors

Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to get the best deals

Maintain daily records of stock (inward and outward)

Ensure timely restocking to avoid shortages during operations

Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage or spoilage

Check quality of items received and ensure standards are met

Coordinate with kitchen staff to understand daily requirements

Manage storage properly to maintain freshness and hygiene

Prepare reports on usage, stock levels, and purchasing costs
