Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in rooftop solar installation (modules, mounting structure, wiring, earthing)
- DC/AC cabling, conduit/pipe work, and basic electrical fittings
- Connect and test inverter, ACDB/DCDB, junction boxes, and protections
- Use tools like multimeter, clamp meter for basic checks
- Support site survey (roof measurement, shadow check, cable route planning)
- Handle service & troubleshooting: inverter issues, low generation, loose connections, etc.
- Coordinate with supervisor for material, daily work plan, and completion reports
- Follow safety practices (harness, helmet, safe ladder/roof movement)
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring (single phase; three phase is a plus)
- Comfortable working on rooftops and field travel inside the city
- Honest, punctual, and able to work with a small team
- ITI / Diploma (Electrical) preferred, not mandatory if skills are good
- Two-wheeler preferred (fuel support as per company policy)
Good to Have
- Prior experience in rooftop solar / inverter / electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of earthing, lightning arrestor, net-metering basics
- Can read simple wiring diagrams
Work Hours
- 9 hours/day (6 days/week)
