Position
Waiter / Waitress
Job Summary
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to provide exceptional service and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
2. Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
3. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
4. Serve food and beverages promptly according to restaurant standards.
5. Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables and responding to requests.
6. Upsell menu items, beverages, and desserts to increase sales.
7. Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and allergens.
8. Coordinate with the kitchen and cashier for smooth and timely service.
9. Ensure all orders are accurate before serving.
10. Set up and clear tables efficiently.
11. Keep the dining area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
12. Refill water, condiments, tissues, and other table essentials.
13. Handle guest complaints politely and report unresolved issues to the supervisor.
14. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
15. Maintain a clean uniform, good grooming, and professional behavior.
16. Assist with opening, closing, and side duties assigned by the supervisor.
17. Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when needed.
18. Follow company policies, SOPs, and supervisor instructions.
19. Be punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
20. Protect restaurant property and maintain confidentiality of business information.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic English communication (additional languages are an advantage).
