Fitter – Roles & Responsibilities (ITI Fitter | 2 Years Experience)

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, machines, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical parts.
• Align and adjust machinery to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and precision equipment safely.
• Inspect components for wear, damage, and dimensional accuracy.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and completed work.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with quality standards such as 5S and safety practices.

Welder – Roles & Responsibilities (ITI Welder | 2 Years Experience)

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.
• Perform welding using SMAW (Arc), MIG, TIG, or Gas Welding processes as required.
• Prepare and fit metal components before welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, pipes, and equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy, and perform rework when necessary.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Select appropriate electrodes, filler materials, and welding parameters based on the job requirements.
• Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Work closely with supervisors, fitters, and fabrication teams to complete jobs on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S and housekeeping practices.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Rigger – Roles & Responsibilities (ITI | 2 Years Experience)

• Inspect and prepare lifting equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, and chains before use.
• Select appropriate lifting gear based on load weight, size, and lifting requirements.
• Attach, secure, and balance loads safely for lifting, moving, and positioning.
• Assist crane operators by providing standard hand signals and maintaining clear communication during lifting operations.
• Ensure all lifting and rigging activities comply with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Inspect lifting accessories regularly and report damaged or defective equipment.
• Guide and position heavy equipment and materials during installation and relocation.
• Calculate or verify load weight and determine the center of gravity before lifting.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in work areas and ensure safe storage of rigging equipment.
• Follow permit-to-work (PTW), PPE, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, and other team members to complete lifting operations safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of rigging inspections and lifting activities as required.
