Job Description
Delivery Person (Delivery Executive / Courier Rider)
A Delivery Person is responsible for transporting goods from the store/warehouse to customers safely and on time.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Pick up packages from the store or hubDeliver items to customers at specified locationsEnsure safe handling of goods during transitCollect cash on delivery (if applicable) and submit reportsFollow assigned delivery routes and schedulesMaintain delivery records and proof of deliveryReport damaged or undelivered itemsMaintain vehicle (bike/van) in good condition
🎓 Skills Required
Knowledge of local routes and navigation (Google Maps etc.)Time managementCustomer service skillsBasic communication skillsResponsible and trustworthy behavior
🎓 Educational QualificationMinimum: 8th / 10th pass (varies by company)
🚗 Requirements Valid driving license (for bike/vehicle delivery)Smartphone (for tracking/delivery apps)
