Education Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Education Counsellor with 2+ years of experience in the IT training industry. The ideal candidate should be skilled at counselling students, understanding their career goals, converting enquiries into admissions, and building long-term relationships with prospective learners.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students on IT courses, career opportunities, and learning paths.

Handle walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and online enquiries.

Convert leads into admissions by providing accurate course information.

Conduct follow-ups with prospective students until admission.

Maintain lead data and update the CRM regularly.

Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.

Coordinate with trainers and the operations team for batch planning.

Support seminars, webinars, workshops, and promotional events.

Ensure excellent student experience before and after admission.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience as an Education Counsellor (preferably in an IT training institute).

Strong communication and convincing skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Knowledge of IT courses such as Salesforce,Java, Python, Full Stack, Data Analytics, AI, or Cloud is preferred.

Good sales, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Positive attitude, target-oriented mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experience in counselling for IT or professional certification courses is an added advantage.
