Job Summary REEW Products Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mechanical Design & Production Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical design knowledge, be capable of converting customer requirements into production-ready drawings, and efficiently manage shop floor operations. The role requires close coordination with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Sales departments to ensure timely and high-quality manufacturing of industrial equipment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical DesignPrepare 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent CAD software.
• Create fabrication, assembly, and BOM (Bill of Materials) drawings.
• Modify existing designs as per customer requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and ease of manufacturing.
• Coordinate with the Sales team for technical clarifications and product customization.
• Production Planning & ManufacturingPlan daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders.
• Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with fabrication, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and electrical teams.
• Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor production progress and resolve shop floor issues promptly.
• Shop Floor ManagementSupervise day-to-day shop floor activities.
• Ensure drawings and work instructions are correctly followed during manufacturing.
• Maintain production quality and adherence to specifications.
• Implement safety practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for inspections and corrective actions.
• Leadership & CoordinationLead and motivate production teams to achieve production goals.
• Coordinate with Purchase for material availability and vendor follow-up.
• Work closely with Design, Production, Dispatch, and Installation teams.
• Train technicians and operators on manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Ability to read and prepare fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of production planning and inventory coordination.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to manage shop floor personnel.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing industrial ovens, furnaces, process equipment, fabricated machinery, or industrial products will be preferred.
