RBI Compliance Officer

Job SummaryThe RBI Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable regulations, circulars, guidelines, and directions issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The role involves monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining compliance records, coordinating audits, and ensuring timely submission of statutory returns.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and implement RBI circulars, notifications, and regulatory updates.
2. Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, NBFC guidelines, KYC, AML, and related statutory requirements.
3. Prepare and submit regulatory returns, reports, and filings within prescribed timelines.
4. Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.
5. Conduct internal compliance reviews and identify compliance gaps.
6. Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and government authorities during inspections and audits.
7. Assist management in developing and updating compliance policies and SOPs.
8. Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely closure of observations.
9. Provide compliance training and awareness to employees.
10. Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management.
11. Support implementation of risk management and governance frameworks.
12. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferred:
• Company Secretary (CS)
• LLB
• MBA (Finance)
• CA Inter / CMA Inter
• Experience1 to 3 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Legal, Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services.
• Freshers with strong knowledge of RBI regulations may also be considered.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of RBI regulations and NBFC compliance.
• Understanding of KYC, AML, and statutory compliances.
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and compliance reporting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
